Write content for User’s not Search Engines.
Once you’ve gotten your site up and running, it’s natural to wonder how you can get your content to perform well in the search results.
While there are literally hundreds of factors that go into determining where a website displays in Google results, the key to building a quality website that performs well in search is to focus your website and content on users, not search engines.
First and foremost, you want to create original content. Think about what your site is really about, and how does it differ from other sites? What can you bring to the table that nobody else can or already has? Spend some time thinking about these things, and make sure your content reflects it.
Freshness matters – Many site owners find regularly updating a blog is a great way to keep users constantly engaged.
And finally, take some time to periodically evaluate your site and archive any content that is no longer relevant. As you build out your site, keep in mind that Google’s goal is to serve high-quality, relevant search results to users. So try to create the most value content for your users.
